Anisa shares with us a classic chicken recipe which is simple to make and can be served with a variety of main courses.
Chicken 65 originated in Chennai and the dish is named after the year of its invention i.e. 1965. Chicken 65 is a crispy deep fried appetizer flavored with curry leaves.
It can be served as an appetizer a bar snack, or entree.


1 tsp of turmeric powder

1 tbsp of dhaniya powder (coriander powder)

1 tbsp of red chilli powder

1 tbsp of ginger-garlic…


  1. The story behind chicken65 is not like that.. 
    In olden time there was a chicken fry which was numbered at 65, so its like a table were you will be having loft's of dishes and this particular chicken comes at number 65 and people use to come and say to the hotel people. ok i am going with the 65 number chicken.. and because of its tastiness, the dish became so popular with in a short period of time. and every one use to call it as chicken 65…
